Hi. I’m Shannon. My journey as a photographer began in 1997 when I took my first photography course as a high school student. It wasn’t until 2005, a few years after I graduated college with a marketing degree, that I began shooting some small corporate projects and realized photography was my passion. By 2006, I was captivated by photographing children & babies, and in 2007, photography became my full time career.
It’s my personal ambition to provide each of my clients with exceptional images that showcase their unique personality or relationship. My ideal clients tend to be those who are kindhearted and loving life, those willing to open up and be themselves in front of the camera. My style leans heavily toward photojournalism. Some of my favorite images have been captured in those unplanned moments when nobody thought I was going to take a picture!
On a personal note, I am married to my wonderful husband and best friend, Joe, and I absolutely could not imagine life without him. God has blessed us with 3 beautiful children, Ashton, Cameron, and Jadyn. They are my world, and have brought me greater meaning and joy than I had ever imagined to be possible! Outside of photography, I love spending time with my family and hangin’ with my closest friends. I have a mild addiction to chai tea and am always up for an afternoon at a coffee shop. I thoroughly enjoy traveling and seeing new places. If there‘s warm weather & a beach involved, you can count me in!
